Resort Activities

Ghost Lake Lodge is a one of a kind place.  With so much to do you are going to wish you had booked a longer vacation.

Fishing

Ghost Lake is a wonderful place to fish.  Peace and quiet and the ability to catch Musky, Walleye, Largemouth Bass and Panfish.  We even have a fish cleaning house for your convenience.

Wildlife

Ghost Lake Lodge is perfect for wildlife viewing.  Being in the 'Quiet Lakes' and the least populated of them make this a perfect spot to see Bald Eagle, Trumpeter Swans, White Tail Deer and the occasional Elk.

Hunting

Because we are already located in the Chequamegon National Forest you have access to over 850,000 acres of public land.  Grouse hunting here is world class and the White Tail Deer roam freely.

Swimming Pool

Pool is going to be under construction for some updates.  Currently unavailable.  This tab will be updated once completed.

Tennis & Basketball

Ghost Lake Lodge was a high end resort back in the day.  A tennis court was a big perk.  We have kept the court in great shape and added some basketball hoops to keep everyone entertained.

Kayaks & Canoes

Ghost Lake is a perfect spot to go explore by kayak or canoe.  They are provided free of cost.  Simply take one one out and return it when you are done.

Fishing Boats

We offer Fishing Boats for rent.  Be sure to book your boat when you book your stay as there is a limited number of boats.

Exploring

Not only does the Hayward area have lots of interesting things to do and explore.  Ghost Lake Lodge happens to be in the Chequamegon National Forest.  That means you have over 850,000 acres of land free to use.

Dogs

Who doesn't love their dog.  Go ahead, bring your dog with you.  Dogs must be leashed and you must clean up after your own dog.  And of course there is a pet fee.  But if you love your dog it is a small price to pay.
